And that’s a bit of news here. Mozilla in talks with Apple to come on iOS. Even in your wildest dreams have you ever given a thought of something like this to come? Well, a change of CEO can actually do that for the company. In an interesting turn of events, Mozilla is having talks with Apple to launch it’s first ever Mozilla application to iOS. If at all everything goes well between both of the companies that will be surely of an interesting observation on how Firefox will land into Apple’s land.
As everyone knows that Apple is particular about it’s own applications, it will not be letting any third party application or browsers to come into their mobile OS. Considering the own safari application that have it for their users. But there happened to be Chrome and Opera that are available for Apple users that was already in use for quite a long time only because, both of the applications have the rendering concepts that will direct back to the website. Also, Opera is using Apple’s JavaScript and rendering engines. And that’s one of the reasons why Apple allowed them to be part of their land.
But, when it comes to Firefox, it will interesting to see in which way will Firefox will going considering the high end requirements they have in stock for the newcomers entering their line.
On account of the recent announcements, This is what the Firefox men had to say in the meet,
At Mozilla, we put our users first and want to provide an independent choice for them on any platform. We are in the early stages of experimenting with something that allows iOS users to be able to choose a Firefox-like experience.
We work in the open at Mozilla and are just starting to experiment, so we’ll update you when we have more to share.
But as of now it’s not clear of anything about Mozilla firefox coming to iOS. No confirmations yet from both the ends. Having said that Mozilla is one of the leading web browser across the globe, it will be interesting to see how will the users react to the new addition.
The Manager of Data Science at Mozilla tweeted about the same on his Twitter that said,
So, it will be interesting to see how both the ends respond. And how soon it will get featured on iOS devices.
