Uber Falls in India – Troubles Coming In From Across The World

2 out of 11 Cities in India have discontinued Uber services in India following the outrage in New Delhi after a women was allegedly raped by an Uber driver. This one incident has caught National attention as people started to look over Uber services in India.
Having had a good start for the cab service in India, Uber is into moving people in professional ways. The services offered by the company in recent times have really got people’s attention as most of the youth in the metro cities go with Uber during the nights. The one big difference Uber makes to its customers is that, it takes no midnight rates. The pricing structure in Uber is constant all through the day and never changes during nights. And that is something that makes people choose Uber over the others during late nights.
Having had experienced Uber services in India, They have done decent job in my every attempt at the service. Drivers are decent enough with a warm smile wearing on their face. And also, when a problem occurs, customer support is really fast enough to get back to the customer with the answers. It was like they have taken the whole travel experience to a new level.
But what has happened a couple of days back has changed the shape and structure of the company. More than an year of constant struggle to get settled in the country with a good name has now got replaced with a bad remark. And now people know Uber is more like a cab service that is no longer safe for women. And thus women will are more likely not to travel on Uber anytime soon.
Getting into more detail about Uber, it has used Technology to the best. It is offering it’s services from across the world and is headquartered in the United States. But entering India is one big thing for Uber and it has expected to make a good mark in the Country with it’s luxury drives for people in Metros.
Also, if you now look at the India Taxis like Ola Cabs, Taxi For Sure and a few more, it all just came into light only after Uber. And thankfully, they are now set to draw more business while Uber is taking all the blame just because of one sadistic and lusty driver it has on board.
Even if you look at signing up as an Uber driver on it’s official website, you will be asked with various questions and a lot of background research will take place before Uber accepts a driver to run for them.
There are quite a few influential drivers out there who are getting a lot benefited from the services and once incident really took them off the board.
With New Delhi and Hyderabad pulling it off the services in their cities, we will have to see where it actually ends. And also, where Uber lands in 2015.
So, I am leaving this up to the readers on what they think about Uber services in India. Do you think banning Uber can do any good to women safety in India? If so, how will you defend your ideas? Please do let us know in the comments section.
