It’s time to join your hands together and welcome yet another mobile operating system so called to be as Tizen OS from Samsung. It’s been a long time since Samsung had come up with some interesting news. In fact, the wait has really taken Samsung to a new low as far as it’s mobile sales is concerned. Having had a terrific 2013 sales figure for Samsung, all of a sudden it has lost most of it’s sales in 2014. If there is an year that has done very little to Samsung, undoubtedly it would be 2014.
To overcome that, Samsung has come up with something so exciting. An open source operating system is always in their mind and having started implementation a few years back, the time has come for Samsung to be out.
Within days time India will be the first ever Country to witness the first generation of Tizen Mobiles from Samsung. Why India? You may ask.
Samsung at one point of time has got a huge market in India and happened to be leading the country for over 2 years in a row before dropping down its share by a large number in 2014. And that’s when Motorola and Micromax came in to play. With quality devices, they made it to the top. Improved their share market values and have comfortably got settled on top.
In the course of re-constructing process, Samsung is now looking forward to compete with Google’s Android one mobile phones in India. And that’s one of the reasons why the pricing structure of Samsung’s first generation of Tizen OS are said to be less than $100. So, that it can actually give a tough competition to the available mid range smartphones.
Even though the specifications of Tizen Mobile hasn’t revealed yet, it was more obvious to say that a minimum of 1.3 to 1.6 GHz processor will be coming with a 1GB RAM along with a 5 Megapixel camera and not to forget, a 5 inch screen.
Also Samsung will be calling this one as Z1 which will be launched in India on 10th of December. Also, the same will be available for sales in Russia very soon.
So, it’s time for developers to get on board and try working on different applications and make improvements on their own style. Every mobile has it’s own exciting things. Isn’t it? So, now it will be more exciting to see what Samsung’s Tizen is having in stock for the users.
Hope the long lost company will find it’s way into the market with their first ever Samsung Tizen mobile.
